Privacy Policy – Wizard Chess 3D

Effective date: 20 October 2026
Developer: DCDeveloper
App: Wizard Chess 3D (package name: com.dcdeveloper.wizardchess3d)

This Privacy Policy explains how Wizard Chess 3D ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app on Android devices. By using the app you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or files.

The app uses the following third-party services, which may automatically collect some information from your device:

  • Google AdMob (advertising) – to show ads in the app. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system, language, app usage and ad interactions (for example, which ads were shown or tapped). This is used to show, measure and, if you allow it, personalise ads, and to prevent fraud.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (consent) – to ask for and store your consent choices for ads where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland).
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (analytics) – to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. It collects anonymous usage information such as app opens, screens viewed, games started and finished, difficulty chosen, undo usage, ad impressions, app version, device model, operating system, country and an app instance ID. It does not tell us who you are.
  • Firebase Realtime Database (app settings) – the app only reads a small settings file from our server (for example, which ad formats are switched on). No personal information is sent to or stored in this database.

Your game settings (sound, music, graphics, difficulty) are stored only on your device.

2. How we use information

  • To show ads that keep the app free
  • To measure ad performance and prevent invalid activity
  • To understand app usage, fix problems and improve gameplay
  • To remotely change ad settings without releasing a new version

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Your choices and consent

  • Ad consent: if you are in a region where consent is required, the app asks for your choice before personalised ads are shown. You can change it any time from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app.
  • Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • Uninstalling: uninstalling the app stops all further data collection by the app.

4. Third-party privacy policies

These services process data under their own privacy policies:

5. Data retention and deletion

Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in our Firebase project and is then deleted automatically. Advertising data is handled under Google's own retention rules. Because we do not collect your name or email, we cannot normally link data to you. If you want us to delete analytics data linked to your device, contact us with your request and we will help as far as technically possible.

6. Data security

Data sent to Google services is transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our settings database is read-only for the app. No method of transfer or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect information.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads in the app are limited to content suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents may request information about the categories of data collected and ask us not to "sell" or "share" personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
